Welcome to your Virginia SHRM State Council website. We provide HR professionals with information on local, statewide and national HR events, resources, initiatives and legislation to assist you in your day-to-day HR duties. For those who serve on local chapter boards, we are also here to assist you in your leadership role. We are a 100% volunteer council that takes a strategic approach to advance the profession and serve the HR professional.

The Virginia Society for Human Resources Management (VASHRM) announced it has established a Military Liaison position with support from its' nineteen chapters across the state.

Community STEM Industry Internship Program VA SHRM is a now a partner in a new state-wide industry internship initiative titled the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP).
