CA-WIB

The purpose of the Capital Area Workforce Investment Board is to increase private sector employment opportunities and to ensure the integration of services to prepare individuals to meet the needs of business and industry in the Richmond region. The CA-WIB also oversees the activities authorized under the federal Workforce Incentive Act (WIA) of 1998.

ECPI

ECPI College of Technology is a regionally accredited on-campus (Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina) and online private college providing degree, diploma, and certification programs and career placement assistance.

DRS

In partnership with people with disabilities and their families, the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services collaborates with the public and private sectors to provide and advocate for the highest quality services that empower individuals with disabilities to maximize their employment, independence and full inclusion into society.

TRAIN IT

Project Train IT is made possible through a grant from the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration. The mission of Project Train IT is "To develop an integrated, comprehensive, and multi-regional approach to marketing, assessment, training, employment, and support services and systems to be utilized in preparing individuals with disabilities for employment and career advancement in Information Technology (IT) fields". Train IT is being piloted by your local Workforce Investment Board and Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center.
